Best Suburbs to move to???

Hi We are moving over from the uk and were thinking of brisbane and surrounding areas. We don't really know much about bris but want somewhere near the city but not really close to it. We don't mind paying for a quality area but were interested in knowing the the best suburbs which include restaurants schools and generally good amenities
