There is also a place called Ahimsa House in West End where a lot of alternative types gather so you could maybe find what you're after there. There is a drumming circle that meets at Roma Street on the first Thursdays of the week, as well as several vegetarian/vegan restaurants nearby. I don't know if you're interested in the naturist and nudist cultures, but there are a few groups of this kind too which I am involved with.
