any suggestions? looking into west end and new farm as per previous posts. those suburbs sound great, trendy, fun, up and coming... but most of the available rentals are apartments with no gardens or very expensive for a private house. is there any suggestions of suburbs that are not quite so CITY with a little bit more room?

Re: wooded, green, leafy, spacious suberbs in brisbane...
Wed, November 21, 2007 - 10:54 PMI live in Ferny Hills, its leafy, green, wooded and spacious - great thing is its 15-20mins either way to the city or into samford which goes into the mountains - I live in a beautiful house on top of a hill surrounded by trees - love it! I pay about $300 for a 3 bedroom house per week. Ashgrove and The Gap are other areas but are pricey
